New Public Catalogue
This upgrade brings a new public catalogue for all Sitka libraries!
You can preview your new catalogue by going to New Public Catalogue preview and clicking on the link for your library.
Take a look at your library’s new catalogue and let us know if changes to your logo or colours are needed. Use our new public catalogue testing checklist to make sure all the important pieces are checked.
All change requests must be submitted to Co-op Support by July 15th. Change requests submitted after the deadline will be addressed in September.
3rd Party Authentication
Patrons will still be able to access electronic resources while Evergreen is being upgraded. The web staff client and public catalogue will be unavailable, but authentication of 3rd party services will continue, and your patrons’ access to digital resources will not be affected by the upgrade.
The offline module will not be available while the Evergreen servers are down. If your library will be open on Sunday, August 14th, please plan to use alternative methods for circulation tracking.
Upgrade Slide for those Sitka libraries using Libpress
An upgrade slide is now available in the Libpress shared media. Please note that the LibPress team has listened to your suggestions to make these easier to use! Check it out!
As in past upgrades, Co-op Support will release timely bulletins about new features and changes, and what library staff and patrons need to know. Bookmark this page to share with staff. This page will be updated as the upgrade approaches.
