Update from the Co-op’s 2018 AGM

The new Chair of the BC Libraries Cooperative is Dana McFarland of Vancouver Island University, and the new Vice-Chair and Chair-Elect is Beth Davies of Burnaby Public Library. Thank you to Tracey Therrien of Nelson Public Library for standing as our new Treasurer, and to Dr. Stan Gardner of University College of the North for continuing to act as Secretary.

Deb Hutchison Koep of North Vancouver City Library was acclaimed as incoming Board Director. Thank you to Hilary Bloom of Squamish Public Library as she steps down as Treasurer and Board Director. We are also grateful to Baharak Yousefi of Simon Fraser University for her strong leadership as Board Chair over the last year.

As for our Business Function Groups, Darlene Dallman of South Interlake Regional Library was acclaimed as Chair of the Sitka Business Function Group (SBFG) and Jennifer O’Donnell of North Vancouver District Public Library was also acclaimed as Chair of the Licensing Business Function Group (LBFG). Thanks to outgoing Chairs David Christensen and Jay Peters for leading their respective BFGs with such enthusiasm.
