- British Columbia Library Association: Committing to Accessibility in the Licensing of Digital Resources on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 from 11am to 12pm on Zoom.
Tami Setala of the BC Libraries Co-op, Laurie Davidson of Centre for Equitable Library Access, and Daniella Levy-Pinto of the National Network for Equitable Library Service will be leading a session in the British Columbia Library Association (BCLA) Conference Virtual Reboot Series.
Explore the various aspects of accessibility as it relates to licensed digital resources, including procurement, model license agreements, accessibility testing, staff and user training, and vendor advocacy and awareness. Learn about the experiences of those with disabilities using licensed resources and how libraries can approach licensing with accessibility in mind.
