Strategic Directions 2020-24

We are pleased to share the Co-op’s new Strategic Plan, the result of significant engagement with members, stakeholders, staff and Board members. Our 2020-24 plan centers around four core themes: 

• Boldly pursue member services innovation
• Help members be catalysts for healthy, resilient communities
• Model and advance library and cooperative values
• Strengthen the Co-op as an organization and partner

In the Co-op’s first years, we laid the groundwork to become a valued community partner, trusted resource and influential advocate. The four core themes in this strategic plan will enable us to build on the Co-op’s strengths and foundational services to pursue new services and initiatives. We’ll continue to prioritize open source solutions and to advocate on issues that impact our members’ abilities to help people. As a people-focused social enterprise, this plan centres our values and challenges us to resource the Co-op and new initiatives in a thoughtful and sustainable manner.
