Ayesha Ali
Operations Manager

Ayesha manages the financial oversight and HR responsibilities within the Co-op. With a professional background in operations and member engagement in the non-profit sector, she has a strong commitment to the sector and towards supporting the Co-op in making a positive impact to its members. She is an active volunteer in the community and an advocate for environmental protection sitting on her municipal advisory committee for the environment.
Sarah Felkar

Sarah has worked in public libraries since 2007, with brief experiences in academic and special libraries. She graduated with a MLIS form the University of Western Ontario in 2012 and has been involved in many Co-op activities over the years, primarily the Licensing Business Function Group, including standing as chair from 2014 to 2016, and being a selector for the BC Consortia eBook collection. Sarah is passionate about digital content, equity, literacy, and connecting people in the sector, and has worked with library technology and digital literacy for most of her library career. She has been co-organizing the IT in Libraries Pre-Conference for several years. Her home position is as the Assistant Director for the West Vancouver Memorial Library.
Sharon Herbert

Sharon’s responsibilities include Sitka’s Evergreen, Co-op Support, communications, policy/governance and Board support. She has over 25 years of management experience across public and non-profit sectors, including leading ILS migrations for hundreds of libraries, managing collection development and technical services for a large urban public library, and as coordinator of library systems and services for one of Canada’s largest school districts. She has served as a director on the Evergreen Oversight Board, as a representative on the BC Public Library Partners and currently represents the Co-op in its Collaborator role on the Evergreen Community Development Initiative.
Kris Jorgensen
NNELS Project Coordinator

Kris has 15 years of experience managing library IT departments and working with library service improvement projects. Before NNELS, Kris held positions in regional libraries in BC and Alberta, and also worked in the academic library environment. Kris is interested in open access and providing information services to diverse communities.
Daniella Levy-Pinto
Manager of the National Network for Equitable Library Service

Daniella Levy-Pinto (she/her) is the Manager of the National Network for Equitable Library Service NNELS, leading digital accessibility initiatives. Daniella works to promote and inform a shift towards born-accessible-content and inclusive design. She is totally blind and has used assistive technologies for over 25 years in academic and professional settings. Daniella holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
Scott Leslie

Scott is a technologist and open content/open network activist. In the past, Scott has volunteered for the Mozilla Webmaker initative and served as a Board Member for Openmedia.org. Before joining the Co-op, Scott worked on Open Education and Open Textbooks with BCcampus, and has been online since long before there was a web.
Tami Setala
Licensing and Business Development Manager

Tami currently manages a large range of discounted products and services for Co-op member libraries. With over 17 years in public and special libraries, she has a strong commitment to supporting libraries through changing times. She believes that library cooperation and collaboration are the keys to resilience in the face of uncertainty. She previously held junior management positions related to electronic resources and collections at the Vancouver Public Library.
Kevin Millsip – on leave until September 2025
Executive Director
Kevin joined the BC Libraries Coop in March of 2018. He has spent over 20 years working in education with a focus on capacity building and advocacy work. He has co-founded two capacity building organizations and built Canada’s largest social change leadership training organization. He was the Vancouver School Board’s first Sustainability Coordinator where he worked on both programs and policy. He has served as a School Board Trustee in Vancouver, as the Board Chair of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives BC-Office, and on the boards of The Centre for Civic Governance, The BC Civil Liberties Association and Theatre for Living. He is also an advisor with the Small Change Fund and Upstream.
