We welcomed Sarah Felkar as our Interim Executive Director in early September and are excited to have her join the BC Libraries Co-op leadership team!

About Sarah

Sarah earned her MLIS from the University of Western Ontario in 2012 and has been actively involved in various Co-op activities over the years. Notably, she chaired the BC Licensing Business Function Group from 2014 to 2016, and served as a selector for the BC Consortia eBook collection.

Since 2007, Sarah has worked in public libraries and gained additional experience in academic and special libraries. She is passionate about digital content, equity, literacy, and building connections within the library sector. Her work with library technology and digital literacy has been central to her work, including co-organizing the IT in Libraries Pre-Conference for several years.

Outside of libraries Sarah can be found playing Dungeons and Dragons, crafting and spending time with her partner and their cat.
