Cooperative announces new Licensing & Business Development Manager

January 18, 2012

It is my pleasure to announce the newest addition to the Cooperative’s staff complement. Starting February 13th, Tami Setala will become the Cooperative’s Licensing & Business Development Manager, a new position created to grow the exclusive range of products and services available to the membership through our Licensing Business Function Group.

Tami is currently the Assistant Manager for Collections and Electronic Resources at the Vancouver Public Library. Tami’s been responsible for coordinating VPL’s large electronic collection, and brings a depth of experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and library partners, working with them to achieve common goals. As leader of VPL’s “E-team”, Tami grew VPL’s electronic collections into a significant asset for the library and for the entire BC library community.

I am confident Tami has what it takes to lead and develop so many exciting initiatives for the Licensing Business Function Group, and for the Cooperative’s membership at large.

Please join me in welcoming Tami.
